30-Minute Guache Portrait

Back in my teaching days at the Art Institute of Indianapolis, I was once faced with classrooms full of students who were SURE that nothing could be painted decently in gauche. So I threw together a (very) quick sketch of Marlon Brando, and showed them how it was done. Then, for good measure, I also painted up Marcus from the Underworld films using a film still for reference.

After that, nobody could complain. :)
